Iraqi International Dental Conference and Exhibition (IIDCE)

The conference opened on July 5, 2024, at the Al-Abrar Complex in the Jadriya area of Baghdad. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Akram Al-Huweizi, the conference president, with the participation of the scientific committee chairs, Dr. Ali Mohammed Khushid and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faiz Yaqoub Al-Hamdani.

   The conference was attended by honored guests from China, including Zhang Tingsong and Dai Yikun, as well as Dr. Raghad Al-Hashimi, Dean of the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry and Dean of the Dental Colleges in Iraq.

Opening of the Conference:

About Conference:

The number of attendees at the opening ceremony and the initial lectures exceeded 800 participants, including doctors, academics, and officials from the Ministry of Health and Higher Education.

After the opening, a series of lectures were presented by international and local experts on various aspects of dentistry. Among the topics covered were laser treatment techniques, applications of artificial intelligence in dentistry, and the latest advancements in dental implant technologies.

The sessions were marked by high attendance and active participation from the attendees, reflecting a strong desire to adopt the latest technologies and methods in professional practice.

The Exhibition:

The exhibition began after the lectures concluded, with participation from more than 50 companies from various countries around the world. The exhibition saw a large turnout, with over 2,500 visitors on the first day alone.

The companies showcased their latest products, including dental equipment, advanced dental materials, and software used in clinics, providing participants with an opportunity to learn about new innovations and try the equipment themselves.”

During the conference, a special podcast session was held discussing the impact of scientific conferences on the development of dentistry and advancements in the field. The podcast featured distinguished personalities from the community and representatives from participating companies, adding another dimension to the conference discussions.

The Iraqi World Dental Conference and Exhibition 2024 was highly successful, featuring wide participation and a large turnout from professionals in the field. Unified National Conference of Iraqi Dental Colleges 2023 , UNC-IDC

The Unified National Conference for Dental Colleges in Iraq 2023 is a significant event organized to enhance education in the field of dentistry and develop the skills of both students and practitioners in line with global developments. The conference was held over two days, on December 8th and 9th, 2023, at the Celebrations Square in Baghdad. The event saw the attendance of over 2,500 individuals, including prominent academic and professional figures from various dental colleges in Iraq, along with extensive participation from international experts in the field. The State of Palestine was honored as the guest of honor for this event 🇵🇸.

Opening of the Conference:

The conference was inaugurated in a formal atmosphere, with Dr. Naeem Abdul Yasser Al-Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, attending along with other prominent figures from the Iraqi academic community. In his opening speech, Dr. Al-Aboudi emphasized the Iraqi government’s commitment to advancing medical education, especially in the field of dentistry, highlighting the importance of integrating technology and artificial intelligence into curricula. He also praised the significant role these technologies could play in improving the quality of education and scientific research in Iraq.
